I.                   GEOGRAPHY

A.        Geographical Location -         It is one of the 26 barangays of the City of Meycauayan.  Located at the southeastern part of the town, it is 6.6 kms. from the new City Hall.

                                   

                                    Tugatog is bounded on the north by Brgy. Banga & Meycauayan River, on the south by Brgy. Bancal, on the east by Brgy. Caingin and on the west by Brgy. Banga.

B.        Land Area       -           62.675 has. (0.62675 sq. kms.)

C.        Terrain             -           Partly moderate slope range of 0-1% category; about 2-7 meters above sea level; swampy along the northeastern part; suitable for human inhabitants.

D.        Season             -           Dry and wet

II.    SOCIOLOGY

A.                Demography

1.                  Population

Based on the 2007 NSO Survey on Population, there were 4,938 inhabitants in Brgy. Tugatog.  It is the 15^th  most populated barangay in Meycauayan with a 2.5 of the total population of 196,569.

2.                  Population Projection

      The projected population of the barangay up to the year 2015 using the geometric method of computing population growth rate is enumerated below.
