I.                   GEOGRAPHY

A.        Geographical Location -         It is one of the 26 barangays of the City of  Meycauayan.  Located at the western part of the town, it is 6.8 kms. from the new City Hall.

                                   

                                    Bayugo is bounded on the north by Brgy. Zamora, on the south by Brgy. Bancal, on the east by Brgy. Gasak and on the west by Meycauayan River.

B.        Land Area       -           18.467 has. (0.18467 sq. kms.)

C.        Terrain             -           Flat, nearly level land, categorized as 0-1% slope range; suitable for human habitation.

D.        Season             -           Dry and wet

II.                SOCIOLOGY

A.                Demography

1.      Population

The year 2007 NSO Survey registered 15,757 inhabitants.  It is the 3rd most populated barangay in the City with a 8.016% of the total city population of 196,569.

      The projected population of the barangay up to the year 2015 using the geometric method of computing population growth rate is enumerated below.
