I.                   GEOGRAPHY

A.        Geographical Location -         It is one of the 26 barangays of the City of Meycauayan.  Located at the northeastern part of the town, it is 3.0 kms. from the new City Hall.

                                   

                                    Iba is bounded on the north by Brgys. Pantoc &  Camalig, on the south by Brgy. Libtong, on the east by Brgy. Perez and on the west by Brgy. Pandayan.

B.        Land Area       -           156.603 has. (1.56603 sq. kms.)

C.        Terrain             -           Flat, nearly level land; categorized as 1-2% slope range; suitable for habitation.

D.        Season             -           Dry and wet

II.                SOCIOLOGY

A.                Demography

1.      Population

The year 2007 NSO Survey registered 7,946 inhabitants.   It is the 11^th most populated barangay in Meycauayan with a 4.042% of the total city population of 196,569.

2.      Population Projection

      The projected population of the barangay up to the year 2015 using the geometric method of computing population growth rate is enumerated below.
