I.                   GEOGRAPHY

A.        Geographical Location -         It is one of the 26 barangays of the City of Meycauayan.  Located at the western part of the town, it is 7.4 kms. from the new City Hall.

                                   

                                    Longos is bounded on the north by Marilao River, on the south by Meycauayan River, on the east by Brgy. Zamora and on the west by Brgy. Liputan.

B.        Land Area       -           49.434 has. (0.49434 sq. kms.)

C.        Terrain             -           Partly swampy area with 0-1 slope range; suitable for human habitation and marine creatures.

D.        Season             -           Dry and wet

A.                Demography

1.      Population

The year 2007 NSO Survey registered 3,511 inhabitants.  It is the 18^th most populated barangay in the city with a 1.786% of the total city population of 196,569.

      The projected population of the barangay up to the year 2015 using the geometric method of computing population growth rate is enumerated below.
