I.                   GEOGRAPHY

A.        Geographical Location -         It is one of the 26 barangays of the municipality of Meycauayan.  Located at the western part of the town, it is 0.23 kms. from the municipal building.

                                   

                                    St. Francis (Gasak) is bounded on the north by Brgys. Zamora &  Poblacion, on the south by Brgy. Hulo, on the east by Brgy. Poblacion and on the west by Brgy. Bayugo.

B.        Land Area       -           3.232 has. (0.03232 sq. kms.)

C.        Terrain             -           Generally flat about 1-2 meters above sea level; categorized as 0-1% slope range; suitable for human habitation.

D.        Season             -           Dry and wet

A.                Demography

1.                  Population

The year 2000 NSO Survey registered 1,604 inhabitants, an increase of 118 or 7.94%.  It is the 4^th least populated barangay in Meycauayan with a 0.9838% of the total municipal population of 163,037.
