CITY OF MEYCAUAYAN, BULACAN


I.                               GEOGRAPHY

A.        Geographical Location -         It is one of the 26 barangays of the City of Meycauayan.  Located at the northwestern part of the town, it is 6.5 kms. from the new City Hall.
                                   
                                    Zamora is bounded on the north by Brgy. Saluysoy, on the south by Brgys. Bayugo &  St. Francis (Gasak), on the east by Brgy. Poblacion and on the west by Brgy. Longos.

B.        Land Area       -           33.479 has. (0.33479 sq. kms.)

C.        Terrain             -           Almost 40% of this barangay are partly swampy area with a slope range of 0-1% category that is suitable for marine life.

D.        Season             -           Dry and wet

A.                Demography

1.                                          Population
The year 2007 NSO Survey registered 2,993 inhabitants.  It is the 8th least populated barangay in Meycauayan with only 1.52% of the total municipal population of 196,569.
