I.                   GEOGRAPHY

A.        Geographical Location -         It is one of the 26 barangays of the City of Meycauayan.  Located at the southern part of the town, it is 7.5  kms. from the new City Hall.
                                   
                                    Bancal is bounded on the north by Brgy. Bayugo, on the south by City of Valenzuela, on the east by Brgys. Bañga &  Tugatog and on the west by Longos River & beyond by City of Valenzuela.

B.        Land Area       -           64.951 has. (0.64951 sq. kms.)

C.        Terrain             -           About 1-2% category, flat, nearly level land area; suitable for inhabitants.

D.        Season             -           Dry and wet

II.                SOCIOLOGY

A.                Demography

1.      Population
The year 2007 NSO Survey registered 12,939 inhabitants.  It is the 6th most populated barangay in Meycauayan with a 6.582% of the total city population of 196,569.

2.      Population Projection
      The projected population of the barangay up to the year 2015 using the geometric method of computing population growth rate is enumerated below.
